Ethos and Vision

Motto: Wellbeing, Happiness and Success

Our motto here at Ysgol Llangelynnin is ‘wellbeing, happiness and success’ and this motto is at the heart of our school’s  ethos. We strongly believe in creating a happy, safe environment that enables pupils to thrive and broaden their horizons.  Our goal is to provide a broad, challenging and interesting curriculum that inspires pupils to be independent, ambitious bilingual learners. We will do this by promoting the aims of our motto as a school community:

Wellbeing:

• Respecting ourselves and others by being friendly, courteous and kind

Happiness:

• Showing enjoyment at school by being enterprising and creative

• Using green thinking to persevere and enjoy challenges

Success:

• Success is being ambitious, concentrating on our work and striving to do our best in order to reach our full potential.

And also:

• Showing pride in our language and traditions through a Welsh ethos.
